Mothers Day with Lola's Cupcakes

I feel like this year is on fast forward, it's going so bloody quickly! It feels like we have only just waved goodbye to 2015 but here we are entering our third month of '16!

Today's post isn't one of my usual gift guides (although I seriously had to restrain myself from posting one as there are some gorgeous things out there right now) as I feel like I've done way too many of those lately! It is however a gift idea that I think any mother would gratefully receive with open arms.. and an open mouth!! 

Lola's is my absolute favourite place to pick up a sneaky red velvet cupcake on the occasional trip to London. There's something about sweet cream cheese frosting topping a beetroot red sponge that fills my heart and my tummy with happiness!
